Pregnant mother, boyfriend charged in death of baby burned in oven by kids

HOUSTON - Charges have been filed against the mother of a 19-month-old girl who burned to death after being left alone at a northeast Houston apartment last week.

The mother’s boyfriend has also been charged.

Racqual Thompson, 25, and Cornell Malone are each being charged with endangering a child.

According to Houston police, the children were left alone on Nov. 16 at the Angel Ridge Apartments in the 8600 block of Sterlingshire Street. More
