White supremacists shoot 5 Black Lives Matter protesters

Minneapolis - White supremacists shot five Black Lives Matter protesters in Minneapolis Monday night, authorities said.

Black Lives spokeswoman Miski Noor told the Star Tribune, “A group of white supremacists showed up at the protest, as they have done most nights, [and] opened fire on about six protesters.”

Authorities confirmed that five people were shot.

The protesters were a block away from a station house, staging a sit-in over the fatal police shooting of 24-year-old Jamar Clark, an unarmed assault suspect, last week.
