Boy, it's an ugly story out of the East Texas town of Hallsville: A family dog skinned to death.
The rescue dog, named Hemi, had wandered away from his home with the Smiddy family, KTRE reported. The daughter went to let another dog out of the house, and she saw Hemi struggling back to her home, covered in blood.
"They had skinned him all the way down his back and this skin here was folded back, there was no skin on either side of him. No fur. It was just flesh," mom Jackie Smiddy told the station. Full Article
