Suspect in car theft forgot about photos

A wanted parolee who is suspected of having stolen a family's car from Sea World after pretending to be a stroke victim in a wheelchair was arrested in Half Moon Bay, authorities said.

Thomas William Baker, 56, of Riverside was pulled over by San Mateo County sheriff's deputies on Highway 92 about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday after they received reports of a reckless driver, said sheriff's Lt. Jeff Kearnan. The deputies discovered that the car he was driving had been reported stolen.

Baker gave a false name and said he was suffering from chest pains and was possibly having a heart attack, Kearnan said. He was taken to a hospital, where deputies ran his fingerprints and learned his true identity and the fact that he was a wanted parolee, authorities said.  Full Article
