Classmates save life of Bronx woman viciously thrown onto tracks at Hunts Point Ave. subway station


A Bronx woman just looking to catch the No. 6 train home was tossed onto the tracks like a rag doll before a couple of courageous classmates came to her rescue.

Cops are still hunting for the mystery madman who randomly attacked Patricia Villa about 9 p.m. Tuesday.

In a flash, she was faced with every straphanger’s worst nightmare.

“I just remember someone grabbing my head — boom — and then he twisted and threw me,” Villa, 49, told the Daily News on Thursday.  More
