Man says he killed girlfriend for waking him

WINFIELD, West Virginia – West Virginia man is being sentenced to life in prison after telling a judge he shot and killed his girlfriend because she interrupted his sleep.

Fifty-year-old Eric Brian Pauley pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in Putnam County Circuit Court.

Pauley told Judge Phillip Stowers that he shot 52-year-old Debra Rosiek at their Winfield trailer because he was mad that she woke him up in the middle of the night. Full Article
