Home Depot Employee Arrested In Stabbing Of Co-Worker In Quincy

QUINCY (CBS) – A Home Depot employee was rushed to the hospital in critical condition Thursday morning after he was stabbed in a fight with a co-worker in Quincy, police said.

It happened at the store on Willard Street, just after it opened to the public.

Police Chief Paul Keenan said the two workers were stocking shelves in an aisle near the end of their overnight shift, when one stabbed the other in a fight.

“The wounds were extensive. They were a leg wound. It looked like he had a cut in femoral artery area, so there was an extensive amount of blood on the scene,” Keenan told reporters.

The other worker, 36-year-old Jamal Boyd (picture) of Mattapan, ran off, police said, but eventually came back to the store and was arrested.  More
