Man fatally shoots 3 bandmates, himself after being kicked out of group, police say

NEW YORK – A man who apparently had been kicked out of a band fatally shot three of his bandmates and wounded a fourth early Monday in a Brooklyn row house before killing himself, police said.

It was not immediately clear why the man opened fire at the three-story building in the East Williamsburg Industrial Park, an area of mostly warehouses and a few homes.

Police say the shooter had been kicked out of the band, but they were not sure if that motivated the shooting.

All the dead were believed to be Iranian nationals living in the United States.

Police said officers responded after receiving a 911 call about shots fired inside the location.  More
