A police officer on patrol around 2:40 a.m. heard banging noises coming from Puppies of Westport, a pet store at 255 Westport Ave., according to a release from Norwalk police.
Anouk Govil, 23, of 16 Eastwood Road in Norwalk, was at the front doors of the store, the release states.
She told the officer that she “was trying to set the puppies free,” the release states. More
