Lunch Lady Threatens To Shoot Up Middle School Because Of Bad Cookies

NORFOLK – A middle school cook is accused of threatening to shoot up the school over a batch of bad cookies.

Wendy Ferris, 46, a cafeteria worker at the King Philip Middle School in Norfolk, is charged with one count of threatening to commit a crime.

She was arrested at her home in Cumberland, Rhode Island Friday night and held over the weekend.

Ferris was arraigned in Wrentham District Court Monday afternoon.

A judge ordered Ferris held on $5,000 bail. Full Article
