Man Sees Woman Being Beaten By Male Passenger In Car, Holds Him At Gunpoint Until Police Arrive

Texas - A motorist who said he saw a man in another car beating a woman forced the man out of the car at gunpoint Friday and held him until officers arrived, Southlake police reported.

Southlake officers were dispatched to Farm Road 1709 and Tower Road at 1:35 p.m. Friday after a caller reported an assault in progress. The officers found two men outside their vehicles in the middle of the roadway, according to a news release from Southlake Police Chief Steve Mylett.

One was pointing a gun at the other, the release said.

The man with the gun told police that he had seen the other man assaulting a female passenger. When both vehicles stopped, the man with the gun got out and pointed it at the other man and held him there for police, the release said.

The other man, identified as MacMichael Nwaiwu (picture), 28, was arrested. He was booked him into the Keller Jail.  More    Strange News
