Middle School Spanish Teacher Surrenders To Police After Planning Sex With 14-Year-Old Student


Oklahoma - A middle school Spanish teacher is accused of sending sexual messages, images and photos to a former student who is now 14 years old.

An arrest warrant was issued Monday for Whitney Blair Fetters on complaints of indecent exposure, lewd proposals with a child, soliciting sexual conduct or communication with a minor, and a computer crimes act violation.

She has not been charged.

Fetters, 28, is a Spanish teacher at Hefner Middle School, according to a search warrant.

She was hired by the Putnam City Schools in August 2012, spokesman Steve Lindley said. Officials were made aware of the allegations on Jan. 30, and she has not returned to the school since. More
