The incident happened at a Save Mart store on Howard Road.
Madera Police say the janitor was sweeping the floors when two men pushed him to the ground. The men then broke a wine bottle over the janitor’s head.
Police believe the men mistook the janitor as a gang member because of his blue uniform. More
