Redmon and the 31-year-old owner of the tortured puppy used to date, but broke up about six months ago. They also had a child together.
The man missed three calls on his cell phone while at work that morning. The woman called him back again and said the following before hanging up, according to the News-Gazette: “Go get yo’ puppy out the oven, (expletive).”
The man returned home to a stench in his house. He found the puppy dead in the oven. A chair was pushed up against the oven door, apparently so that the puppy could not escape its torturous death. More
