Woman Who Had Several Medical Conditions Found Dead In Jail Cell

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio – Police say a woman found dead in a holding cell at a suburban Cleveland jail had several medical conditions and was taken by ambulance to a clinic the night before she died because she seemed lethargic.

Police say 37-year-old Ralkina Jones of Cleveland was found dead at the Cleveland Heights jail Sunday morning.

They say paramedics had taken her for medical evaluation on Saturday night, then checked her again after midnight and found her vital signs to be normal. More
