Police find man’s missing wife hiding out at a hotel

Virginia – The “nervous wreck” of a husband who called on Henrico, Va., authorities to find his missing wife after she ditched a doctor’s office now faces an assault charge.

Mark Ditto has said his wife, Connie Ditto, mysteriously vanished late Tuesday waiting for an X-ray after drunkenly falling and hitting her head.

But after his wife reappeared safe and sound Friday at a nearby hotel, WTVR-TV reports. Mark Ditto’s claim was questioned Saturday as she filed for a protective order.

She claimed to be a victim of spousal abuse and that she was hiding from her husband, the TV station reported. More
