Giants defensive tackle accused of trying to rape woman before hitting her with his car at a hotel

Police are investigating a claim that a Giants football player Jay Bromley attempted to rape a woman he met online — then struck her with his car as he fled a swanky Midtown hotel.

Bromley, a 23-year-old defensive tackle, met the woman online and asked her to meet him at the Hyatt Herald Square Hotel on W. 31st St. about 6:15 a.m., police sources said.

Once there, he tried to rape the woman, a police source said.  More
