Woman Charged With Second-Degree Murder Of 3-Year-Old Following Manhunt


A Virginia woman has been charged with second-degree murder as well as child abuse and neglect after a 3-year-old child was found dead in her care.

Hope McVey Perdue may soon face prison time after 3-year-old Callen Lee Mullins was found dead Tuesday morning.

The child was discovered by Hope's husband, David Perdue.

He then “placed a 911 call from his residence … in reference to an unconscious child,” according to a statement by the Franklin County Sheriff’s office.  More
