Motorcyclist fleeing police severed at waist in crash


BAY CITY, Michigan – A motorcyclist has been severed at the waist during a crash while fleeing police in Bay City, east of Saginaw.

The Bay City Times reports Monday that 47-year-old Christopher Henry struck a curb then a utility pole cable before hitting a tree Sunday night.

State police 1st Lt. David Simon tells the newspaper that resulted in Henry being “cut in half at the waist.”

Simon says Henry’s Harley-Davidson “continued down the road almost two blocks, another 400 feet, and came to rest.” More
