On June 29, the unidentified man arranged a date with Davis after connecting with her on Plenty of Fish, a popular online dating website.
The victim alleges that the two met up at an apartment complex when Davis received a suspicious phone call. That is when two armed men approached the male victim with guns drawn and began demanding money.
After a search yielded no cash, the two suspects began to argue with Davis and proceeded to order the victim to walk toward his vehicle. He subsequently was shot in the chest and played dead as the two suspects and his date fled. More
