OAK RIDGE, Tenn. — A Clinton woman punched a burglar in the mouth when she came home and found him inside her home.
Anderson County Sheriff's Department Deputy Mark Hobbs later arrested 50-year-old Jackie Lynn Westmoreland, of 104 Rolling Acres Lane, Clinton, for aggravated burglary and vandalism. He was taken to the Anderson County jail, where he is being held on a $100,000 bond.
Reports said the 26-year-old victim told Hobbs she returned to her Lake City Highway home about 8:30 a.m. Saturday after spending the night away and noticed the door to her home was not secure. When she went inside, she pulled back a curtain on a doorway and saw a man standing in her bedroom. Full Article
