Robber climbs through take-out window at fast-food eatery

Authorities have released surveillance video of an aggravated robbery when a masked thief brandished a handgun as he climbed through a take-out window at a fast-food restaurant along U.S. 59 in northeast Harris County earlier this year.

The robbery happened at the eatery at 11200 Eastex Freeway about 11:30 p.m. May 27, officials said
Officials said the man was armed with a pistol and jumped through the take-out window into the restaurant.

He threatened a male worker with the gun and demanded money from the cash register draw. The clerk gave him about $200 and the man left. He was on foot.

The restaurant’s surveillance camera recorded the man’s image during the robbery. The video shows the man walking to the window, climbing through it and pointing a  handgun at worker. More
