A Des Moines convenience store clerk was reportedly threatened with a knife when he tried to stop a man from stealing two liters of Mountain Dew.
According to Des Moines police reports, the unknown man entered a Kum and Go, 4200 Hubbell Ave., around 11:40 a.m. Saturday. He tried to buy a 12-pack of pop but didn’t have enough money, police said.
The man then allegedly grabbed two one-liter bottles of Mountain Dew and exited the store without paying. Full Article
