NJ man, 75, pleads in drug, prostitution sweep

ENGLEWOOD, N.J. (AP) - A 75-year-old man arrested in a drug and prostitution sweep at a lower-income senior citizen housing complex in New Jersey has avoided prison time.

James Parham of Englewood has pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a nuisance for purposes of engaging in unlawful conduct.

Police had said Parham admitted providing prostitutes to some of his younger neighbors in the building that is owned by the Englewood Housing Authority.  More
