Mom left her two-year-old twins barricaded in her home with plywood while she went out partying

Orlando – A woman barricaded her two-year-old twin sons in her home on Sunday night with plywood so that she could go party at a margarita festival.

Kiria Ferris (picture), 29, was arrested and charged with child neglect after neighbors say they saw her two unsupervised sons playing near a lake adjacent to the Orlando home.

One toddler was moments away from walking into the lake when his neighbor found he and his brother outside.

WFTV reports that neighbors Rita Charles and Carlin Rogers recognized the children as belonging to Ferris and went to check if she was home. More
