Correction officers found the suds’ gun in a cell at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center Nov. 10 and traced it back to Troy Benner, an armed robbery convict, police said.
The crafty convict created the gun out of bathroom materials available to all inmates, police said.
Officers also learned Benner had a handcuff key he nabbed from a guard who unknowingly dropped it. More
