Waffle House waitress is shot dead by customer she asked to stop smoking

Mississippi – A waitress at a Waffle House in Mississippi was fatally shot in the head after telling a customer to put out his cigarette.

Julie Brightwell, 52, suffered a single gunshot wound to the head at around 1am on Friday and died from her injuries on the way to hospital.

Johnny Max Mount (picture), 45, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder. More
