Brenna Elise Winter, of St. Cloud, was arrested on charges of attempted first-degree murder, battery by strangulation and aggravated child abuse.
According to court documents, Winter took her 3-month-old daughter to Nemours Hospital earlier this month because the baby was vomiting blood.
After undergoing some tests, the baby was OK’d to go home, but she was brought back later for the same symptoms, officials said.
According to authorities, an alarm was triggered in the hospital because of the child’s condition, and a video monitoring system in the room showed Winter beside her baby with her hands inside the crib. More
